The big man ain't done yet!
It's been over two weeks since the St. Louis Blues released veteran forward Milan Lucic from his professional tryout (PTO) contract. Since then there's been little talk about Lucic's future and no statement from Lucic himself.
Today though, NHL insider David Pagnotta is reporting that Lucic is set to sign in the UK's EIHL.
Check it out:
The EIHL is the top league in the United Kingdom, but is considered a level below other top European leagues like the SHL (Sweden), Liiga (Finland) and Czech Extraliga. Several former NHLers have played in the league, most notably tough guys like Brian McGrattan, Paul Bissonnette and Tom Sestito.
Stay tuned for official confirmation from the team and/or Lucic's camp.
