The Philadelphia Flyers are taking a huge risk with their season on the line.

On Saturday, just moments before Game 4 of their second round Stanley Cup playoff series against the Carolina Hurricanes, Tocchet has made some massive lineup changes that will likely be discussed well beyond this game regardless of the result.

The biggest move of the day is Tocchet's decision to scratch Flyers star forward Matvei Michkov for what is inarguably the biggest game of the season. Tocchet and Michkov have butted heads at various points during the coach's tenure in Philadelphia but this will be the most high profile example of the two not seeing eye to eye to be certain.

Stepping in for Michkov in Game 4 will be Flyers first round pick Jett Luchanko, despite Luchanko being far less experienced than Michkov. Luchanko has appeared in just 8 career NHL games and has no playoff experience to speak of.

There is another significant lineup change from Rick Tocchet as well with first round pick Oliver Bonk getting the call for tonight's critical Game 4. The young defenseman has just 1 NHL game under his belt and will be stepping in for the much more experienced Emil Andrae.

The Flyers have nothing to lose at this point, down 0-3 in the series ot the Hurricanes, and Tocchet seems to be pulling out all the stops in an effort to secure a win.
