The Florida Panthers have had some struggles in recent weeks and the last thing they need is an injury to one of their start players.
Thankfully it now sounds like Panthers goaltender Roberto Luongo may have avoided the worst of it after he was struck in the head during a practice on Tuesday. George Richards of the Miami Herald first broke the news indicating that Luongo had been forced to leave the ice and was being looked at by trainers.
However according to Richards it does not sound like Luongo has suffered any kind of serious injury, although initially it may have appeared more serious. Richards did point out however that there was some kind of swelling on Luongo's neck.
