Robin Lehner fears people are coming for him.

Another rant on social media from Lehner.

Veteran National Hockey League goaltender Robin Lehner has been taking to social media to speak his mind more and more as of late, and it is starting to come off like the man is desperate to get something off of his chest.

In the late hours of Thursday night Lehner published a bizarre pair of tweets that appeared to indicate the Las Vegas Golden Knights goaltender was in some distress. Not only did Lehner appear to claim that he was being threatened with cancelation, but he even went so far as to suggest that he was willing to die for what he believed in.

Here is the first part of his message, which was published alongside a video, edited for clarity:

Everyone are coming for me. That’s fine im willing to die for what I believe in. Vinnie P if im cancelled so be it. I heard people coming for me and I welcome them.

Lehner was not done there however. Although he would not go into any kind of specifics whatsoever, he once again reiterated his belief that there were people after him and that he was prepared to face the consequences. This time around Lehner said teams and corporations were the ones looking to cancel him, but added that he would be finally free to speak his mind if they ever did.

Here is Lehner's second message, once again edited for clairty:

Last thing I’m thankful for is that corporations and teams coming for me. Please do it. I don’t need documents I’m happy to get cancelled as my mouthguard will be released for real. Please come at me. I really don’t care. I’m just focused to win and make sure people don’t get hurt.

Update: The tweet has now been deleted, here is a screenshot.

Robin Lehner fears people are coming for him.

It has been well documented that Lehner has struggled with mental health and therefore it might be easy to simply write this off as an unwell man having an episode.

Earlier in the season however Lehner made some damning accusations on social media, accusations surrounding the use and distribution of prescription drugs in the NHL, but nothing ever came of that story. The fact that Lehner mentions he wants to make sure people don't get hurt leaves open the possibility that the two may be related.
