Things got ugly in the third period between the Toronto Maple Leafs and Columbus Blue Jackets.

After a back in forth game that had it's fair share of physicality, Leafs defenseman Roman Polak went too far and delivered a big hit from behind to 21-year-old Blue Jackets forward Oliver Bjorkstrand.

Bjorkstrand's head unfortunately appeared to strike the glass hard, and he went down hard on the ice and lay motionless for several moments before trainers arrived to tend to him.

Even after getting up to his knees it looked like he wasn't all there.
