Romanov pulls most awkward move to avoid fight with Maroon!

In the second period of the first game back from the NHL-wide pause between the Montreal Canadiens and Tampa Bay Lightning, Habs defenseman Alexander Romanov reminded fast of his ability to deliver big hits. He did so when he dangerously boarded Boris Katchouk.
His teammate Pat Maroon did not appreciate and when he skated over to Romanov a few shifts over to invite him to dance, fans in house expected a fight.
However, they aren’t sure what they got…
Romanov quickly let fans know that he was not a fighter… though he can deliver hits, he had no clue how to handle Maroon and when the Lightning veteran pushed him, Romanov dropped to his knees and remained in the awkward position.
He started trending on social media for his humiliating response to Maroon’s antic, and we bet the forward had something to say about his way to avoid the fight.
