Rookie Matthews Tkachuk responds to critics in epic fashion after his suspension.

Calgary Flames forward Matthew Tkachuk has quickly earned himself a reputation as one of the National Hockey League's most reviled players. And while that may be a bad thing for 29 teams in the National Hockey League, the one team that matters doesn't seem to mind his antics one bit.

Tkachuk came under fire after a nasty elbow on Los Angeles Kings defenseman Drew Doughty put him in the crosshairs of NHL Player Safety, but that criticism hasn't phased the young rookie one bit.

Coming off the two game suspension he received for the aforementioned infraction, Tkachuk spoke to the media regarding his particularly nasty brand of play. With one simple statements he sent a message to his fans, critics, and every other player in the NHL.

"I'm not changing my game at all."

It's exactly what every fan in Calgary wants to hear.
