Roster shakeup in Toronto ahead of Game 5!

You gotta do what you’ve got to do! More details down below:

This series between Toronto and Florida is now a best of three and with the Maple Leafs’ dreadful performance in Game 4, reports indicate that head coach Craig Berube is shaking up his roster.

On Tuesday at practice, it seemed like Berube was trying something out of the Panthers playbook with Nick Robertson, David Kampf and Ryan Reaves working as a unit on an extra line.

After the skate, Berube did not mention anything about a roster change, though we could find out right before game time later tonight in Toronto.

For Game 4 in Miami, Panthers head coach Paul Maurice switched out his entire fourth line and it was a great decision for the team that tied the series at 2 apiece.

After the last game spiraled out of control, some fans are calling for Reaves to be added to the lineup.

Known for his physicality and willingness to fight, Reaves could bring a jolt of energy — and if the Panthers take the bait, it might just give the Leafs the spark they need.

Coach Berube, however, isn’t tipping his hand about any potential changes, just yet...

We will provide more updates on the Maple Leafs’ stake as it unfolds today, here below.

On Wednesday morning,  Kampf was not on the ice for the team's optional skate on Wednesday, raising the question of whether he could enter the lineup for Game 5.

After the skate, Berube explained that the team has “game-time decisions” to make, but won’t reveal any specific lineup changes ahead of Game 5. He added that the changes are “coach’s decisions", not injury related.
