Rumblings of a big 3 player trade between Kings and Jets.

The Winnipeg Jets and the Los Angeles Kings are working on a deal with at least 3 players involved.

There is now discussion of a big potential trade brewing between the Los Angeles Kings and the Winnipeg Jets.

According to a report from The Fourth Period's David Pagnotta, it sounds like both the Kings and the Jets are hard at work on a trade that would involve at least 3 players. The centerpiece of the deal would be Jets forward Pierre-Luc Dubois who has made his desire for a trade out of Winnipeg very clear, although it is unclear if this would be a sign and trade in the way the Matthew Tkachuk deal was last summer.

That being said, according to Pagnotta an extension for Dubois is expected but that could happen either before or after the trade.

It sounds like the Jets would be getting some significant pieces back in return from the Kings with Pagnotta reporting that both Gabe Vilardi and Alex Iafallo are expected to be going back the other way to Winnipeg should this deal get finalized.

There may be more to this deal but that is all the information I have at this time, so stay tuned for more details.
