Rumor: A potential hint about Jagr signing with NHL team.

We have two pieces of information that may provide a very interesting hint as to where Jaromir Jagr may end up this season.

While there haven't been any rumors connecting Jagr to a National Hockey League team for some time, a catastrophic injury to a young NHL forward may have just the door wide open for Jagr's return.

On Wednesday Blues' insider Jeremy Rutherford‏ of The Athletic reported some very interesting comments from Blues general manager Doug Armstrong, and while they are two entirely separate statements, it's impossible not to see a potential link between the two.

First  Armstrong told Rutherford that he would look at every available option to locater a potential replacement for forward Robby Fabbri after his season-ending knee injury, that obviously includes veteran free agents.

On the very same day Armstrong also admitted that the Blues have discussed the possibility of bringing in living legend Jaromir Jagr.

"He's a great player, someone we've talked internally about, and we'll have to talk about how players complement our style."

Could we soon be seeing Jagr in a Blues uniform?
