This could be bad for Boston.

Right now the New York Rangers have Jimmy Vesey as a member of their roster but it wasn't so long ago that he was actually drafted by the Nashville Predators.

Vesey of course would exercise his options as a free-agent and never signed with the Predators, going instead to New York, and now it sounds like the Boston Bruins may be the next to lose a draft pick in such a fashion.

20-year-old Anders Bjork could sign with the Bruins should he choose, but there is talk that he may return to collegiate hockey for one more season, and some believe that the motivation may be for his desire to play in a different market.

"And Anders Bjork could become the next Jimmy Vesey and the Bruins his Predators (make that prey).," said Mick Colageo of the Standard-Times.

Bjork is coming off a very strong season where he recorded 21 goals and 31 assists for 52 points in just 39 games, and there's little doubt that that the young forward would draw interest from rival NHL teams. Of course the Bruins will do everything they can to convince him to remain with their organization.
