Rumor: Bruins’ owner Jacobs interfering in Pastrnak negotiations?
Is he to blame for this impasse?!
HockeyFeed
You know, we know it, forward David Pastrnak has yet to sign with the Boston Bruins.
According to writer Jimmy Murphy, Bruins' owner Jemery Jacobs could be behind the impasse between the club and Pastrnak.
Murphy noted that Jacobs could be using the ongoing negotiations to stem rising tide in salaries paying for potential. Other elements in what the forward is looking are creating obstables for the owner.
The journalist also explained that Pastrnak is seeking the same length of contract as Edmonton Oilers' Leon Draisailt was offered, but is seeking an annual salary of $7,5M.
A lot to take in, Bruins fans!
