We have some stunning news to report.
While there have been rumors over the past 24 hours suggesting that the Calgary Flames were among the teams interested in signing living National Hockey League legend Jaromir Jagr, those rumors have just ramped up in a major way.
According to a breaking news report from hockey scout Joshua Marshall, the Flames and Jagr are now very close to coming to terms on a one-year contract.
Marshal reports that the deal is rumored to be worth $3.7 million and seeing as this is a one-year deal that means Jagr would carry an identical cap hit for the coming season.
