Chris Kreider is a player several teams would like having on their roster : he is a former first rounder, recorded more than 20 goals in at least three seasons and he is not afraid to go to the net... That's one thing a certain team does not appreciate.
The Montreal Canadiens and their fans still hold a grudge against the New York Rangers forward for injuring goalie Carey Price back in 2014, but they might need to forgive him.
According to TVA Sports insider Renaud Lavoie, the Habs might be looking to trade their former first rounder Alex Galchenyuk in return for Kreider. Though it may also be Mats Zuccarello who gets shipped out of the Big Apple, it would be quite something to see the Canadiens' number one enemy land in Montreal.
New York Post writer Larry Brooks also believes there are talks between both clubs. It will be interesting to see if they pull the trigger and if Kreider needs to start saying "I am sorry" to a few Habs fanatics.
