Mike Babcock as the Leafs new head coach speculation of exactly who he will be working with in the future.
There has been a ton of speculation that current director of player personnel
Mark Hunter will take over as the Maple Leafs' general manager and the move makes sense. It's believed
Babcock's deal gives him significant control over player personnel, so attracting a big name GM wouldn't be difficult.
The Leafs promote a talented first time GM internally and he gets the benefit of experience in a high profile club, works for both parties.

Meanwhile the Leafs appear to have already started the interview process when it comes to assistant coaches. Reports indicate that they have interviewed
Guy Boucher for a potential position along side
