Maple Leafs expected to announce the signing of promising new forward?

Important rumor this morning as Lou Lamoriello is not wasting any time of his off-season following his team's elimination

Darren Dreger, TSN’s Hockey Insider, reported he expects the Maple Leafs to announce signing of Swedish forward Carl Grundstrom to a 3-year entry-level contract soon.

Grundstrom is considered by scouting report found on elite hockey prospect as “A very hardworking winger and great team player. Grundström plays an aggressive in-your-face type of game with plenty of intensity. Is strong on his skates, forechecks well and is very valuable on the penalty kill. He is not the most technically skilled player, but will chip in offensively and reads the game fairly well. Does a great job around the crease and along the boards. Great character with good timing in his hits

He played 45 games for Frolunda HC last year. He scored 14 goals and registered 6 assists for a total of 20 points. He was drafted by the Toronto Maple Leafs in the second round of the 2016 NHL entry draft.
