Rumor: Montreal looking to make one more big roster move.

The Montreal Canadiens made some truly massive moves over the summer, most notably the acquisition of Shea Weber, Andrew Shaw and Alexander Radulov but now it sounds like they might not be done.

In a recent article, Sportsnet insider Elliotte Friedman revealed that sources have confirmed to him that the Canadiens are currently looking to add another top four defenseman to their roster, although who he is targeting is currently unclear.

Friedman also adds that "a couple of executives" have pointed to the lack of top four defenseman, and as a result it's hard to gauge who Canadiens general manager Marc Bergevin has his eyes on.

This would appear to indicate that the Canadiens are more likely to wait until closer to the deadline to make the move, when teams who are out of contention will be more willing to make such a deal. With that said however, there is still the possibility of acquiring rumored trade targets like Cam Fowler and Jacob Trouba  although both of those seem unlikely, but not impossible, for different reasons.

Definitely more to come on this rumor.
