Rumor: News report accidentally leaks new Bruins jersey.
Has a new Boston Bruins jersey been accidentally leaked?
I've got a pretty interesting story to bring to you this evening, a bit of a hockey mystery if you will.
On Monday, the CBC released a report on long time National Hockey League jersey making company SP Apparel, a business based out of Sainte-Hyacinthe, Quebec, Canada. During that report several parts of the jersey making process were shown on camera, and some of what was shown during those scenes has caused quite a stir among sharp-eyed fans of the Boston Bruins.
That's because what appears to be a new Bruins jersey is shown being manufactured at points during the news report, leading to speculation online about what exactly that jersey may be used for. You can see the exact moment that has caused all the commotion in the short clip below:
As for what the jersey may be used for, some fans seem to believe that it will be a new home jersey for the Bruins come the 2025-26 NHL regular season.
In a very interesting twist, some fans have suggested that these jerseys could be designed for use in the upcoming Happy Gilmore movie, with hollywood actor Adam Sandler famously wearing a Bruins jersey during several scenes in the original film.
I would love to know what you think about this unexpected jersey mystery, be sure to share your guesses as to where we can expect to see these jerseys in the comments.
