Insider reports they are working on a deal

David Pagnotta (The Fourth Period) reported earlier on Tuesday that there is talk the Minnesota Wild are among the other club working out a deal with Vegas Golden Knights regarding the expansion draft, but nothing’s confirmed yet.

Reported earlier last week by USA TODAY, the Minnesota Wild could be tempted to trade a former first rounder defenseman. A possibility created by the NHL holding an expansion draft on June 21 to stock the Vegas Golden Knights.

As speculated by Kevin Allen, NHL insider, it makes more sense to deal Jonas Brodin, instead of losing him in the expansion draft.
