Rumor: Rumblings of a potential trade between Leafs and Blues
Honestly, I think this is just what the Leafs need.

According to a report from David Pagnotta of The Fourth Period, there might be good reason to keep a close eye on the St. Louis Blues if you're a Toronto Maple Leafs and/or Chicago Blackhawks fan this season.
Pagnotta reports that St. Louis Blues GM Doug Armstrong was in attendance for last night's Leafs vs Blackhawks game in Toronto, presumably to scout the teams for a potential trade later this season.
From Pagnotta:
That's enough for me to cue the Colton Parayko to Toronto rumors!
I kid, of course, but not entirely. Parayko has been on the trade block for awhile now in St. Louis and he's exactly the type of defender that the Leafs should be coveting. The problem is that Parayko makes a whopping $6.5 million annually for the next six seasons. I can't see the Leafs wanting to take on the full heft of that contract, especially with Parayko just recently turning 30 years of age.
Still, the Parayko to Toronto rumors have persisted for nearly a season now and with Armstrong scouting the Buds, there may be something to this. Where there's smoke, there's fire?
