The Ottawa Senators may very well soon find themselves in a very tight spot.

Following a report from Bruce Garrioch of the Ottawa Sun that revealed forward Curtis Lazar had once again been made a healthy scratch by head coach Guy Boucher, TSN hockey insider Darren Dreger dropped a bombshell announcement.

According to Dreger Lazar's agentJP Barry, will meet with Ottawa Senators general manager Pierre Dorion this week and at that meeting Barry is expected to demand that Dorion trade his young client.

While it doesn't sounds like the Senators are ready to giveu p just yet on Lazar, it sounds like Lazar and his representatives feel like the Senators are doing his development a major disservice and now feel the only solution is a fresh start somewhere else.

Obviously since the demand is not yet official we have no way of predicting how Dorion will react once it's made.
