Rumor: Star forward is one step closer to heading back to Russia!

Prior to their statement win against the Chicago Blackhawks last night, the Vegas Golden Knights reassigned star player Vadim Shipachyov to the AHL.

And once again, it surely feels like this won’t end well… 

Shipachyov is one of the most highly skilled offensive players belonging to the expansion franchise, but the return of Jonathan Marchessault is the reason why the Russian player is getting demoted again!

GM George McPhee has already had to deal with rumors that the 30-year-old is interested in returning to his home country.

If ever frustration gets the better of Shipachyov, the Knights could consider moving him instead of losing him for nothing…
