The rumor is heating up
It's no secret around the NHL that the Pittsburgh Penguins are looking to add a third line center after losing Bonino's services to the Nashville Predators.
Tyler Kennedy told DK Pittsburgh Tim Benz that Jordan Staal, 28, would be more comfortable with a third-line center role than the current setup with the Hurricanes.Staal has been away from Pittsburgh for five years now. In Carolina, he was supposed to grow into a top center, which he was never going to do with the Penguins behind Sidney Crosby and Evgeni Malkin said Dave Holcomb.
Dave Holcomb from Fanrag sports added he would be a great fit and the rumor is heating up around the fact he might head back to Pittsburgh in a role that fits him more.
