SUPERSTAR player reportedly no longer considered as untouchable

The Hockey News reported that according to the Edmonton Journal's Jim Matheson, "the Avs could listen to offers for the 21-year-old MacKinnon. He said some pro scouts believe they'll entertain trade proposals for everyone but rookie winger Mikko Rantanen."

It is quite surprising as just before the deadline, TSN insider Darren Dregger was reporting Joe Sakic was desperate to find a way to right the ship, and in fact there may only be one player on the entire Colorado roster who is untouchable. This player was Nathan Mackinnon.

Nathan MacKinnon is a first round pick overall of the 2013 NHL entry draft. He played 4 seasons so far with the Colorado Avalanches. The 6ft, 195 pounds center scored 75 goals and registered 129 assists for a total of 204 points in 296 game played.
