Rumor talks could mean Demers will nix another trade!

The most recent trade rumors pointed mostly to Colorado Avalanche Matt Duchene and New York Islanders captain John Tavares, but several other players in the NHL appear to be starting the new season, already on the trade block. 

Sportsnet dressed a list of nine potential trade candidates for the upcoming season, and the Florida Pathers are apparently going to try to trade defenseman Jason Demers once again. 

The demand for quality blue liners is always high in the NHL, and the Panthers could use Demers as significant bait. 

The defenseman didn't deny this summer that he had nixed a trade to the Vancouver Canucks. He does have a modified no-trade clause in his deal, where he gets to provides the Panthers a list of eight teams to which he won’t accept a trade.

The Colorado Avalanche could look to grab him, but the destination is mostly likely on Demers' no-go list. The Detroit Red Wings, Montreal Canadiens, New Jersey Devils and Dallas Stars are potential destinations for the 29-year-old. 

Will he nix a trade there too?
