Rumor: Trade brewing between Leafs and Ducks?
They have been good trade partners.

The Toronto Maple Leafs have a lot of forwards on hand, and already talks on who needs a contract extension next summer is making it quite the puzzle for management. Not only young stars like Auston Matthews, Mitch Marner and William Nylander are expected to cash in, but other key players like Tylez Bozak, James van Riemsdyk and Leo Komarov need to be extended as well, and there might not be room for them.
"These veteran players are a value, they are a value to the Maple Leafs, and around the National Hockey League," NHL insider Darren Dreger explained on TSN 1050.
"I look at a team like the Anaheim Ducks and I know the Ducks would like to add a third-line forward. And they are aware, like other teams are, that Toronto seems to have an abundance. And you never know, maybe there will be some talks."
It wouldn't be the first time both teams discuss on the possibility of making a trade, they have completed moves together many times in the recent years.
