There have been rumors for several days now of a potential trade brewing between the Toronto Maple Leafs and New York Rangers, one that would involve Toronto's star forward Phil Kessel. There's no question that trading for one of the best goal scorers in the league, especially one who's under contract long term is going to cost you, and on Thursday Adam Herman of SB Nation tweeted out what he believed to be the asking price from Toronto for Kessel. According to Herman the Leafs want Chris Kreider, one of the Rangers top prospects in either Anthony Duclair or Brady Skjei, a 1st round pick in 2016 and a 2nd rounder in 2015. It's a monster asking price, but having a guy like Kessel on  your roster for the playoffs could mean the difference between a conference final exit or a Stanley Cup championship. The two questions are is it worth the risk? And is it even possible for the Rangers to make it work cap-wise? For the record Herman believes the price is too high.
