According to Bruce Garrioch form the Ottawa Sun, the Columbus Blue Jackets are looking to add a centerman who can be responsible defensively.

After trading Ryan Johansen, general manager Jarmo Kekalainen is apparently looking to add Montreal Canadiens' Lars Eller. The latter was drafted by Kekalainen when he was working with the St-Louis Blues.

Eller was drafted by St-Louis in 2007 with the 13th overall selection.

Garrioch added that Canadiens' general manager Marc Bergevin is really aggressive on the market to shake things up for his team and Eller has been in Montreal's head coach Michel Therrien's doghouse for the past year.

At time, Eller can be an excellent second-line centre, but most of the time, he seems like he doesn't know what to do with the puck.
