RUMOUR: Veteran Forward To Sign Professional Tryout

The Edmonton Oilers are on the verge of signing unrestricted free agent Kris Versteeg to a professional tryout, according to The Score.

Versteeg has struggled to find his groove after scoring 23 goals in 2011-2012 with the Florida Panthers. The 5’11” right wing could provide Edmonton with some much-needed depth scoring within their top-9 should he make the team.
