According to TSN' Darren Dreger, the Boston Bruins are starting to talk contract extension with one of their star forward.
Dredger reports that general manager Don Sweeney has started to talk to Loui Eriksson's agent.
The 30 year-old is currently in his final season on his six year contract worth $25.5M. He stays second amongst the team's players with 15 goals and 37 points in 44 games this season.
Dredger believes that Eriksson will be asking for a contract around 5 to 6 years with an annual price of $6M.
If common ground isn't reached, the winger will likely be traded around the trade deadline.
