Russian NHL player on the move to the KHL?
In house

The Playoffs just began and we're already flooded with rumors concerning the UFA market. The competition to attract quality players has been raging between the NHL and the KHL for years and it seems it could take yet another spectacular turn.

According to KHL insider Igor Eronko, a Russian NHL player with a contract ending this year could be moving to the KHL.

The SKA just won the Gagarin cup and is one of the richest and more prosperous team in the league. Needless to say, they have the means to hire whatever player to see fit.

It's still unclear whether a superstar would be involved, but here's a list of notable Russian players set to become UFA comes July 1st.

Andrei Markov - Montreal Canadiens

Alexander Radulov - Montreal Canadiens

Dmitry Kulikov - Buffalo Sabres

Fedor Tyutin - Colorado Avalanche

Some names make more sense than others and we'll follow this issue with attention for sure!
