New York Rangers enforcer Matt Rempe has taken the National Hockey League by storm and has made quite the name for himself in a very short period of time. In spite of only appearing in a total of 6 NHL games for the Rangers thus far, Rempe has already created several highlights by taking on some of the toughest men the NHL has to offer and he will get the chance to do so once again on Saturday night.

On Saturday, Rempe and the Rangers will travel to Toronto where they will face off against the Toronto Maple Leafs at Scotiabank Arena and many are wondering if Rempe will once again be asked to drop the gloves.

The Maple Leafs boast an enforcer of their own with veteran NHL enforcer Ryan Reaves currently a member of their organization, and many anticipate that Reaves and Rempe will collide on Saturday night. Reaves was asked about this leading up to tonight's game and he admitted that he doesn't know if he and Rempe will cross paths tonight.

"I don't have the game script, but you never know," admitted Reaves.

The Maple Leafs enforcer appears to respect how Rempe has tried to establish himself in the NHL, perhaps even seeing a little of his younger self in the Rangers big man.

"Hot start for him, good start," said Reaves. "He's coming in the league trying to make for himself any way you can, and that's how I came in. I wasn't called up for my scoring touch that's for sure. It was to be physical and stick up for teammates and draw some energy and I kinda came in the league the same way. Good on him, he's got some attention and we'll see how long it lasts."

Whether or not he will be getting any of that attention from Reaves himself later tonight remains to be seen.
