Sabres build fake goalie for practice and it's one of the weirdest things you'll see this year!

Kinda creepy, Buffalo...

The Buffalo Sabres are going for their seventh straight win at home and are hoping to put an end a three-game losing streak as they face the Toronto Maple Leafs tonight.

After losing 2-1 at the hands of the Nashville Predators at Bridgestone Arena on Monday, the Sabres were back practicing and getting serious about making the appropriate changes to get back on a winning streak. However, fans might be disturbed to find out one of the things they changed for practice was the addition of a player. A fake one, which makes it the disturbing factor...

The Sabres got a little creative at their latest practice, putting together a fake goalie seeing that having only one netminder in practice wasn't getting the roster as ready as they should be to face the Maple Leafs.

When you first glance at the picture, you assume it's a real, flesh and blood, goaltender. However, you quickly notice the "work of art" from the Sabres and quickly start thinking it is quite weird...

The upper-body looks quite normal but things start to get a little weirder at the knees area. The poor mannequin wears just the one pad, and then, you see the wooden box with wheels. That is just too much and probably the weirdest things you'll see this year!

Anyways, we hope for you and the Sabres...

Two years ago, TSN's Kristen Shilton was also the one to notice that the Maple Leafs used a mannequin to help them during drills. They brought a mannequin onto the ice to help conduct screens in practice and more than one reporters was confused and fooled the first time they saw it.

We are just making sure everyone is aware about the weird new guy in between the pipes in Buffalo.

Do you believe the Sabres' fake goalie is weirder than the Maple Leafs' mannequin screen guy from two years ago? Let's have fun saying which team is the winner here before one of them comes out on top tonight in the real NHL matchup - without the two hardworking mannequins.
