Of course, Mrazek earned a bit of a reprieve from yet another subpar performance when superstar forward Auston Matthews decided to do his best Paul Bunyan impression, using his stick as the axe and Sabres defenseman Rasmus Dhalin's neck as a giant redwood tree; Matthews has since been suspended two games for his actions.
But of course, not to be unexpected, fans couldn't help themselves on social media in delighting in the latest setback for Toronto, which continued to raise massive questions about the quality of their goaltending as the Stanley Cup Playoffs approach.
