A beautiful moment from Buffalo this evening.
A beautiful moment that highlights the love between hockey's two biggest nations just transpired in Buffalo this evening.
With the hometown Buffalo Sabres set to face off against the Boston Bruins in Game 5 of their first round playoff matchup, all that was left to do was sing the National Anthems before dropping the puck. For those unaware, the Sabres have a tradition of singing both 'O Canada' and the 'Star Spangled Banner' regardless of who is playing the game and tonight was no exception.
The problem though?
Singer Cami Clune's microphone cut out during the singing of 'O Canada'.
The Sabres' faithful didn't miss a beat though and they sung their neighbors National Anthem loudly and proudly for all to hear.
Check out this beautiful moment:
How great is that?
With all the political bullshit going on between our two countries, this moment really highlights that hockey can bring us all together.
Good on you, Sabrehood. You're good people.
