Scary scene as Jake Walman crashes into the net

Detroit Red Wings captain Dylan Larkin was able to avoid injury yesterday despite leaving the game hunched over in pain, and the team will be hoping for a similar result with defenseman Jake Walman.
Midway through the second period, he appeared to lose an edge and crashed into the net and may have hit his head on the post. He remained down on the ice and had to be assisted to the dressing room.
Unfortunately, the Red Wings would confirm that Walman would not be returning to today's game.
Let's keep our fingers crossed that this isn't a serious ailment for Walman, who has enjoyed a strong season so far for Detroit.
