Sean Avery talks about losing 8 years of sobriety due to quarantine

In case you haven’t been following up with former NHL super-pest Sean Avery since his retirement from professional hockey… well he’s up to his usual tricks.

In the past year Avery has taken to Instagram to stir the pot a bit, much like he did when he was on the ice. Avery lives to troll his haters, which makes yesterday’s post a little tough to decipher. Avery talks about ending eight years of sobriety with a bottle of vodka in the morning, but it’s unclear whether he’s serious or, again, just trolling.

Hmmm… I’ve watched this a few times now and I’m almost certain that Avery is trolling. Still… he never followed up, so who knows?

In any case, would you really be surprised if Avery gave up eight years of sobriety just to make some Instagram content? The guy is so hard up for attention that it seems 100% plausible.
