Seattle Kraken will have quite a duo in net!

There's still another year to go before the Seattle Kraken make their official entry into the NHL and start the 2021-22 season, but don't look now but the 2021 NHL expansion draft is just eight months away. We're getting closer and closer to the Kraken becoming a REAL thing.

Kraken GM Ron Francis has his work cut out for him in replicating the expansion success that the Vegas Golden Knights have experienced in their first three seasons of existence, but at the very least Francis and the Kraken will have some quality netminders to choose from in the expansion draft. Of course, the Golden Knights made Marc Andre Fleury a big part of their team after drafting him from the Pittsburgh Penguins and the Kraken are counting on a similar situation for themselves.

Unless there are any major changes around the league between now and the expansion draft, here's a quick and dirty list of the goalies who will most likely be available for the Kraken during the Expansion Draft:

Available: Antti Raanta (Coyotes) , Joonas Korpisalo (Blue Jackets) , Anton Khudobin (Stars) , Jonathan Quick (Kings) , Jake Allen (Canadiens) , Corey Crawford (Devils) and  Braden Holtby (Canucks) .

Then there are also several goalkeepers who, as of today, still do not have a contract for 2021 and could also potentially find themselves available depending on what happens to them in free agency.

Tuukka Rask (Bruins) , Jaroslav Halak (Bruins) , Carter Hutton (Sabers) , David Rittich (Flames) , Petr Mrazek (Hurricanes) , James Reimer (Hurricanes) ,  Philipp Grubauer (Avalanche) , Jonathan Bernier ( Red Wings) , Pekka Rinne (Predators) , Anders Nilsson (Senators) , Frederik Andersen (Maple Leafs) and Henrik Lundqvist (Capitals)

In the end, whatever happens, there's no denying the fact that the Kraken will have a strong duo in net to start the 2021-22 season.
