Seider robs Pastrnak and scores a shorthanded beauty!
An incredible individual effort!
The Detroit Red Wings are currently in the process of spoiling Tyler Bertuzzi's return to Detroit, and a fair bit of credit for that belongs to Red Wings star defenseman Mortiz Seider.
The Red Wings jumped out to an early lead in the game's first period but Seider may have driven the dagger in the heart of the Boston Bruins in the second when he picked the pocket of Bruins star forward David Pastrnak. As the Red Wings were killing a penalty, Seider would not only rob the skilled forward of the puck but would create a breakaway opportunity for himself in the process. Seider made no mistake on his shorthanded breakaway and sealed the deal by burying a beautiful backhand behind Bruins goaltender Jeremy Swayman.
An incredible individual effort from the Red Wings defenseman.
