According to multiple insider reports, the Ottawa Senators have signed forward Fabian Zetterlund to a three year contract extension worth $4.275 million per season.
The Sharks acquired the 24 year old Zetterlund, forward Tristen Robins and a 2025 fourth round pick from the San Jose Sharks in exchange for forward Noah Gregor, forward Zack Ostapchuk and a 2025 second round pick.
The Swedish winger scored 19 goals and 41 points in 84 games split between the Senators and Sharks this past season. He's a skilled player with the ability to play up and down the Sens' lineup, depending on their offensive needs.
