Signing entry-level contracts can take a lot longer than expected. Once a first-round draft pick is selected, it’s usually only a matter of days or a few short weeks before he inks a deal.

In the case of the Ottawa Senators’ 2016 11th overall pick, 6’6” giant Logan Brown, it took a little over a month and a half.

RDS reports that the center has come to terms with the Sens on a three-year deal. While the dollar value of the cntract is yet to be confirmed, the 18-year-old will likely not make the jump to the NHL next season.
