Senators’ skid stretches, hints at another major move?!

A few options for the team.

The entire world of hockey was impressed earlier this month when Ottawa Senators general manager Pierre Dorion was finally able to convince the Colorado Avalanche to move forward Matt Duchene, in a blockbuster trade that sent Kyle Turris to the Nashville Predators.

The move finally completed, all eyes turn to Duchene and his new teammates to dominate the East, as Dorion even mentioned not being done on the market, looking to improve his team some more.

But since, it's been quite the downward spiral, as the Sens can't seem to win a game. The Senators’ losing streak stretched to seven games with their 2-1 loss to the Montreal Canadiens last night, marking their worst skid since 2012.

It's easy to blame Duchene and the trade, as the 26-year-old forward has only recorded a goal in nine games, but the Sens'  losing streak coincides with a pointless streak for captain Erik Karlsson.

Dorion's previous talks of adding more players to his team might be placed back on the table, as the Senators fight to stay in playoff contention before the halfway mark of the season.

The Sens GM has mentioned that he was looking to add another offensive boost to his roster, and he might be on the lookout for that as we speak.

Do you think Dorion should make another move to tweak some things around in his team, or should he trust his player to turn things around and count of young prospects from the minors?
