According to a report from Ottawa Senators insider Brent Wallace of TSN, the team has sent rookies Erik Brannstrom and Marcus Hogberg to the AHL's Belleville Senators.

Check it out:

The 20 year old Brannstrom has just two assists in 20 games with the Sens this season and, at this point, it's clear that he could use some seasoning in the AHL. Acquired from the Vegas Golden Knights as part of last season's Mark Stone trade, Brannstrom is considered one of the top defensive prospects in the entire hockey world. The smooth skating Swedish blueliner was drafted in the first round, 15th overall, by Vegas in the 2017 NHL Entry Draft.

As for Hogberg, he impressed in his two starts with the Sens this season and posted a 1.82 goals against average and .925 save percentage. He's just 25 years old and figures in to be a big part of the team's future in goal.
