Sens lock Josh Norris up to a monster 8 year contract

The Ottawa Senators have locked up another key member of their young core, signing forward Josh Norris to an 8 year contract worth $7.95 million per season.
The 23 year old forward led the Sens in scoring last season with 35 goals in 66 games.
"We're very pleased to come to a long-term agreement with Josh," said Senators general manager Pierre Dorion in a prepared statement. "He's a versatile forward who continues to mature into an exceptional NHL player. His scoring prowess has already shown to be a considerable asset for us and one that will help us reach the next level. His dedication and the pride he takes in his physical conditioning will serve as a great example for our next wave of young players."
With Norris now locked up the Senators have him, Brady Tkachuk, Drake Batherson and Thomas Chabot all signed to long term deals. Next up: Tim Stutzle and Alex DeBrincat. Things are trending upwards in the Nation's Capital!
