C'mon... he was clearly joking.
San Jose Sharks head coach Ryan Warsofsky made headlines around the NHL this past weekend for a whopper of a quote following the team's shutout loss to the Pittsburgh Penguins.
When asked about the team's early season struggles Warsofsky said, "I'd give up one of m children for a f***ing win."

Now clearly, Warsofsky is joking right?
Anyone with half a brain realizes that he's joking, right?
Well... maybe not.
Today Warsofsky was forced to issue an apology for what he said.
“I love my kids. I would never give them up. I love my wife," Warsofsky said earlier today. "Obviously, I'm a passionate, emotional person, and probably got ahead of me there, and so I apologize for those comments.”
We know, Ryan. You don't owe us an apology. Good grief...
