We have some scary news to report.

According to a breaking news report from Kevin Kurnz of The Athletic, the San Jose Sharks have seen star player Logan Couture go down at practice, seemingly suffering some kind of injury.

While Kurnz has not provided any details regarding the nature of the injury, he did report that Couture was seen limping off the ice under his own power while favoring his right leg, presumably indicating that this is some kind of lower-body injury.

Couture is obviously a huge part of the Sharks offense, accounting for 25 goals and 27 assists for a total of 52 points in 73 regular season games during the 2016-2017 season. Any serious injury would be a devastating blow to the Sharks, especially this close to the start of the regular season.
