Shawn Spearing drops one of the best chirps of all time with his jaw wired shut!

In spite of the fact that he had his jaw wired shut, Shawn Spearing of the Peterborough Petes still managed to roast his adversary.

This will probably go down as one of the all-time best chirps in the sport of hockey, and it will no doubt be a memorable moment in the career of Peterborough Petes defenseman Shawn Spearing.

Spearing and the Petes took on the Seattle Thunderbirds on Friday night in a Memorial Cup showdown, and during an interview that occurred between periods Spearing produced a highlight that has already gone viral on social media. Spearing was asked about some of the chirping that had been going on during the first period, and he delivered one of the most hilarious and brutally honestly responses you're ever going to hear from a hockey player... all while having his jaw wired shut no less.

"That guy's just a loser, to be honest with ya," said Spearing. "No other way to put it.... just a loser."

If you didn't laugh at that I have to question the integrity of your funny bone. Full credit to the interviewer though who managed to keep it together as Spearing was roasting who I presume was Seattle Thunderbirds forward Lucas Ciona, a Calgary Flames prospect, and chuckling while doing it no less.
