Shayne Gostisbehere continues to impress with a snipe against Montreal.

While it hasn't been been a perfect season by any stretch for the Philadelphia Flyers, there's a different feeling around the team than there was last season, and that's in large part to the bright future fans see in Shayne Gostisbehere.

The talented young defenseman put his skills on full display on Tuesday when he fired a laser past Montreal goaltender Ben Scrivens early in the second period to give the Flyers a one goal lead.

The goal was good for Gostisbehere's 16th point in 22 games played this season, an incredible total for a rookie defenseman.
