Shayne Gostisbehere trolls referee right to his face.

Detroit Red Wings defenseman Shayne Gostisbehere was not happy with a call and he made it very clear to the officials.

Detroit Red Wings defenseman Shayne Gostisbehere created a rather hilarious moment on Friday night, but he might wanna be careful about getting on the bad side of officials in the National Hockey League.

During the second period of Friday night's clash between the Detroit Red Wings and Philadelphia Flyers, a great game that is definitely worth going back to watch, Gostisbehere was called for an interference penalty that he was understandably frustrated about. Gostisbehere got tangled up with Flyers veteran Cam Atkinson in the open ice and it definitely looked like Atkinson did his best attempt at overselling the penalty on the play.

That would in turn lead to Gostisbehere openly mocking the NHL's officials for making the call, doing so right in the face of linesman Caleb Apperson as Apperson escorted him to the penalty box. Gostisbehere simply mimicked what he thought Atkinson had done to draw the penalty, a pretty good impersonation of Atkinson's behavior no less, but that was enough to earn him an additional 2 minute penalty for unsportsmanlike conduct.

Here's a look at the replay of both the original call and the subsequent behavior that led to the unsportsmanlike penalty for Gostisbehere:

Whose side are you on in this one? Was Gostisbehere right to mock the officials? Or did costing his team an extra 2 minutes simply go too far?
