Sheldon Keefe shares a big update on Max Domi.
Sheldon Keefe shares an update on injured Maple Leafs forward Max Domi on Saturday.
The Toronto Maple Leafs were without forward Max Domi at practice on Friday and there was some concern about his availability for what is a pretty big game on the calendar.
The Maple Leafs will take on the Detroit Red Wings on Saturday night and a win over the Red Wings could effectively kill their hopes of making it into the Stanley Cup playoffs, so you can expect that the intensity will be ramped up considerably later tonight.
Thankfully Saturday morning came with some good news for the Maple Leafs as Max Domi was spotted back on the ice early in the morning skate.
And here's another look:
Domi's return to practice did not however signal that he would be available for tonight's game, although head coach Sheldon Keefe has since confirmed that as well. According to Keefe, Domi will be back in the lineup tonight when the Leafs take on the aforementioned Red Wings, a big return ahead of what could be a big game.
